Craving Chocolate At Work? Try A Coffee Mug Cake!

How about a chocolate cake instead of a coffee break?! This little recipe can make a chocolate lover's day. Some offices offer cappuccino and bottled water, now the fancy ones can let them eat cake! For real!

(Also, if you print the recipe and place it in a mug that has your logo, it could be part of a closing gift basket.)

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

4 T. flour
4 T. sugar
2 T. cocoa
1 egg
3 T. milk
3 T. oil (or try real butter...worked very well)
3 T. chocolate chips (optional)
Small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.

Put the mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes on high. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, which means more to enjoy!

Let it cool a little, and then EAT! You can put it on a plate wn sprinkle powdered sugar or try and frost it. If you cut it in half, you could share a little.

Now you are only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!
