Larry, That is like biting the hand that feeds you. Our daughter is an International flight attendant based out of JFK and when she decided to move her stuff back home and start commuting she got a big fat raise.  She is now taxed out of Texas rather than New York.

Marchel- There is no reason to pay the high taxes in NY.  Just think how much companies could save in taxes and wages every year moving out of NY!  Glad your daughter got away from it.
