Thankful Thursdays: Stuck Between A Rock And A Hard Place

~ Stuck Between A Rock And A Hard Place ~

And knowing that it isn't necessarily a bad place to be! It's amazing what happens when the desire to survive is great enough to sustain life.

Everyone has experienced adversity in their lives, some become paralyzed, unable to make even the smallest of decisions. Some take that same life experience and turn it into positive energy, therefore creating new possibilities to learn and grow!

How we respond to hard times, determines the outcome. Thrive or barely survive.

What are your thoughts?

LOVE the photo and your message.  I have found that when I am faced with a seemingly impossible situation, it sort of give me a "kick in the pants" and inspires me to find a solution to the challenge.

Melanie, Looking ahead during difficult times help to overcome them. You have great insight!

Tom, I looked at that cactus for 2 days, wondering how it could survive...yesterday I finally stopped and took some photos. Wow! Like you, I am very impressed!

Earlene, I like your way of thinking! Happy Wednesday to you!

Thanks Toula, I try to be positive as well but there are times when I am thoroughly tested!

Wanda,

Thanks for the inspiring photo and message.  If we didn't have the "lows" we wouldn't enjoy the "highs."

Wanda,

What a wonderful analogy. It's amazing what can be done with so little sometimes.

I am rarely stuck between a rock and hard spot. LOL. I think people who are might have difficulty making decisions or making the right decisions.

I agree Elizabeth, When stressed to make quick decisions, people tend to make matters worse in most cases.

You are welcome Ed. I have experienced this a few times in life!

BarbaraJo, I was amazed this cactus was alive and BLOOMING at that! We could learn from nature.

Thanks Debra. Things will work out!

I think by the time this real estate market recovers, those of us who are still here will have lots of experience to draw on after being stuck between a rock and a hard place for several years.
