Baltimore County Farmers Market adds a New Location

There is no better way to reduce your families carbon foot print than to buy locally grown produce.  More than 20 Baltimore County Farmers have joined together to form the new Baltimore County Farmers Market offering high quality local produce, meats, flowers, goods, gifts and more to the community.  The Baltimore County Farmers Market, conveniently located with free parking at the Maryland State Fairgrounds North Gate, will take place every Wednesday from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m., beginning with a sneak preview on June 2, followed by a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting ceremony on June 9, 2010.   The Grand Opening will feature greetings from local dignitaries, live entertainment, giveaways, and a special strawberry preparation demo, featuring local Baltimore County strawberries, by Chef Carole Brosso from Patrick's of Cockeysville.

There will be a wide variety of locally grown and seasonal fruits and vegetables  along with chicken, beef, bison, honey and so many other items.

This is AWESOME!  It will be right across the street from the new corporate office!  I love farmer's markets and totally agree with you on reducing carbon footprint.  This is a great way to support our local farmers and eat healthier!  I'll be there---probably every Wednesday.  Thanks again June for sharing another great blog.  ;)
