Tax Credit Hangover?

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Unlimited

I've heard many agents saying things have slowed down the past few weeks.  Are we experiencing a hangover from the tax credit?  Did we see a false market?  What will the rest of 2010 bring?  Sales are increasing and buyers continue to look.  Things are looking up!

I still have quite a few buyers that I am working with and most just want to buy a house and the tax credit would have just been a bonus but because they kept getting outbid they unfortunatly didn't get to utilzie the tax credit but they are still activily looking.

"The darker the night the brighter the stars." I think the increase in sales over the past few weeks may seem a little better than they actually are knowing what could be ahead. My advice would be to work, work, work now and just prepare yourself for the uncertain future. Just my two bits :)
