Curb appeal is what draws a buyer into your home.
You have 7 to 10 seconds for the buyer to form that great first impression.
Your home should appeal to the buyer but also reassure them it is well maintained.
So, your home is well maintained with no deferred maintenance issues, but is it ready?
Look at your landscaping.
Shrubs? Beds? Perennials? Annuals? Lawn?
All these things help ground your house.
They add texture and colour - appeal.
If you are in an older home take a long look at the shrubs.
Do they need trimming?
Replacing?
Do they block the view of the house?
Now may be the time to act.
Visit your local nursery and look at the sales.
If you cannot afford shrubs then use flowers.
Planters full of flowers can add a lot of colour.
Make beds and add flowers by your walk.
Add colour to your porch.
Keep your lawn cut and weeded. Any weeds in that path?
All these things add up to curb appeal.
Show the buyer you are house proud. Dress up that curb appeal.
