I was stuck in rush hour traffic in Metro Atlanta, GA the other day and looked up to see a billboard that reflects the current number of homes available in the Metro Atlanta area and the number was an astonishing 109,923! As the traffic was crawling at a slow pace, (Atlantans can appreciate that one!) I started to ponder the inventory supply and how in the world we will get rid of that supply. Fortunately enough, the area has so many wonderful attributes like great weather, shopping, dining, education and culture that people are flocking here from all parts. Also, no matter what shape, size, color the homes are, if they are priced right, they are selling. I once heard a phrase from someone in the automotive industry that stated "there is a bottom for every seat" (He actually said another word instead of bottom, I cleaned it up a bit for the youngsters.) That sure is alot of cheeks!

A lot of the listings don't seem very serious.  They are priced terribly high.  But still, there are WAY too many listings.  It will take a long time forour market to digest even the serious ones.
