VITAS or Hospice care is a fantastic salvation for families.

Whenever you are in need of special care, the nurses and aides that help those people that need end of life care are fantastic.

They help you through the entire process of losing a loved one. They have any type of assistance you need when you are losing a loved one...

I experienced that today with a very good friend. I was so happy that they were there, could answer questions. They are professionals and provide comfort for family and friends.

Thank you VITAS/Hospice for being there for those in need...what a comfort to have you wonderful men and women around.

Karen, VITAS was there for my mom when she died, it made things so much easier for me. There was an issue after she died with the funeral home, VITAS stepped in and put a stop to some pretty shady shenanigans.

I haven't dealt with Vitas but over the winter, I lost my mom and mother in law and they were both on hospice care here in my home.

I couldn't be more grateful or appreciative to have been able to bring them both home to care for them in their final days but I admit to being anxious on more than one occasion that I'd bitten off more than I could chew in my ability to provide care and comfort. Hospice showed up and saved the day, allowing my family and I to participate in one of the most important phases in a persons life.

These people are blessed and a gift from the "power" that is out there...I don't really know how they do it, but they were fantastic for my father and they are being fantastic for my friend.
