I think in today's market it is important to stick with the basics. Things I used to do when I was looking for an inexpensive way to generate leads, hold an open house. I've done an open house three days in a row which generated nine leads. They might not do anything now but since we've already met I will certainly keep my name in front of them emails, phone calls, direct mail, and text. Sure it would be nice for immediate gratification but just think of the relationship your building. Heck, you might get a referral out of it.
I'm going to start wearing my name badge when I'm out in public see what that gets me.
