Meet Nick Vujicic No Arm's, No Legs, No Future?

Imagine being born with no arms and no legs! Many of us, would probably curse God, give up, or have no reason for living.  I was introduced to Nick at our church service at Valencia Hills Community Church in Valencia, California.  Our pastor  "Mike" played this video clip of Nick Vujicic during the service.

This video gives us a small snapshot of this remarkable man.  At the time we had not met Nick in person and we were all looking forward to witnessing first hand this inspirational man transformed by God who has no limbs, yet has no limits.  I already have been inspired to get off of my periodic self pity pot and recognize that my small everyday issues are small compared to the obstacles Nick has to overcome everyday.  Even just doing the basics that I take for granted like shaving, etc...

Nick came and shared his inspirational tale with us which was held at the Valencia High School Gym located at 2701 Dickason Drive Valencia, CA.  The gym (our temporary facility) is directly across the street from the Ice Station on Smyth Dr in Valencia.  It was an incredible standing room only event that touched many lives including my own.

Whether you're a Christian or not  This man and his message is far greater than any of the seminars and "guru's" we may be attending to better ourselves professionally.  This man will inspire us to grow spiritually and personally. View his website at www.lifewithoutlimbs.org

Thanks for the reminder.  The video was beautiful and inspirational.  It's great to see God moving in his life and to see that he is open to God's call and using his speaking talents to encourage others.

I often think about Joni Ericson Tada........

Paralyzed from the neck down...she has made SUCH an impact for the kingdom of God.......

Can WE say that?

If not, why not?

=-)

Your right Alexander we all have talents, strengths, skills, that could impact the lives of others.  If we take the time to learn what they are and share them for Gods Glory.

Yes, the "self pity pot"!!! For the longest time I was soooo concerned about so many things, so worried, stressed, etc. It wasn't because I didn't believe in God, or didn't believe Jesus wouldn't be here for me. it was because I thought the wrong things mattered. I've stopped wanting a lot of what I used to want. I mean, I still want it, but differently now. For ex, I don't worry any more about impressing people. I used to worry what people think. Maybe it's bad I don't worry more, but I've realized that I cared so much for so long what others thought that I wasn't living from what I believed to be true, about what I'm good with, about what I look up to... I've moved to seeking to live my life in a way I believe is true (right, virtuous, God-loving, etc) and it is like some one just cut that chain right off my neck... I am free..

I'd love to meet Nick in person. I'm going to check the schedule.  Thank you for the post!

Sara you are welcome, and thanks for sharing with us about your self awareness and growth with God.  Many people think that having a relationship with God is like being chained.  But as you have experienced it is quite the opposite.  I hope you are able to meet Nick as well!! Take care

Hello, my name is Temitayo, am a Nigerian. Infact i was suprised to see a God's creature like Nick performing miracles. Some pple that are in the same state as Nicks would have probably lost hope totally but Nick was different. He has the believe and faith that all things are well. God bless you abundantly Nick and he'll surely give you all your heart desires (Amen). You're loved!
