4 Comments on How To Get a VA Approval for Your Condominium Complex
I worked on the process to get a 28 unit condo building VA approved. It was a cumbersome process but in the end we got the stamp of approval. Two buyers out of the 24 units now sold used VA and now we have a third under contract. Get to do it all over again soon for a 12 unit TH project that will have condo ownership.
We wrote on a condo in Ann Arbor. The buyer was going VA, the listing agent said it wasn't approved. It was, they recorded it Pittsfield Township and not Ann Arbor.
We sent over the documentation from the lender.
During all of this another offer came in and the seller went with one that was not VA.
Some people just don't get it.
"Whether the loan transaction is conventional, FHA, or VA, it behooves everyone to review that list quickly, so that mistakes and/or omissions can be corrected."

Advice so nice I repeated it twice!

I'd say call if you need help Cindy but, if you've been through one, you realize that it's not that hard.
Missy, doesn't that just drive you nuts? We've lost a few here because the sellers wouldn't even THINK of a VA loan.
I appreciate the emphahsis, Bill.
