Happy Memorial Day 2010
And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
~Lee Greenwood
As you enjoy a cookout with loved ones, an afternoon at the park with your family, take a moment to remember that all of the wonderful opportunities afforded us are courtesy of millions of heroes past and present to whom we owe great thanks. Honor those who have paved the way for the wonderful lives we live by leaving a carnation on an untouched soldier's grave this weekend or by saying words of thanks to a veteran that you know. Pay tribute to those heroes who continue to protect our freedom by sending your words of appreciation at www.AMillionThanks.org or www.LetsSayThanks.com. Finally, the best way to show thanks to the heroes past and present is to be grateful for all of your blessings. Instead of recognizing challenges in the economy, the real estate market, or in your personal lives, focus on the real gifts...the air we breathe, the smile we may put on another's face, and the opportunity we have to change the world. Life is great, be thankful.
I hope you enjoy your Memorial Day Weekend.
