Must be something in the air, something in the stars or my ouija board has a speed bump!

There have been an unusual amount of 'strange happenings' in my real estate hemisphere!

Buyer client #1 states at home inspection - 'Can't you just give me the payment book & we can get this over with'?   Sure, I'll work on that for you but we have to go thru the closing process first.

Buyer client #2 states at closing - 'I'm tired of reading all this @%*&!n paperwork, just tell me where to sign and give me my payment number'.   Hmmmm, are you related to that other guy?

Buyer #2 obviously has lost his patience with the closing process.  He now hates the sellers, and anyone attached to or admits to knowing the sellers.

Why?  Check out the picture below - the Sellers won't remove the ice cream truck from the driveway!  That's right I said Ice Cream Truck as in 'Good Humor'.  I didn't even know one of them could still make it around the block.  Well, obviously this one no longer runs and the buyer wants it gone!

I made a 'secret suggestion' that we just roll it into the street and let it crash into the ditch on the other side of the parkway and let the village deal with it.  No cost to us - my kind of idea!  It'll be fun, like a high school prank & hopefully the cops won't find us.

Well, they're no fun - they are only holding back $5000 of the sellers proceeds.

The stars are just not 'that spontaneous' today.  Maybe next week.

It's so much fun to be a Realtor these days.  I like your idea of rolling the ice cream truck into the ditch if for no other reason as to see passersby wonder how an ice cream truck got driven into a ditch.  Best of luck to you Lyn.

That's funny....quite ironic it's a "good humor" truck since clearly no one is left with any humor whatsoever....except you. Lol

Karen:  Yes, just me & the truck.

Jerry:  That's what I said, let's just see how everyone deals with it.  Which village dept gets called for that?

Lyn. I always love the hold back when working on a deal like this, everyone feels threatened and hostile at the same time.

Steve:  Sellers just couldn't understand why the truck had to be gone by closing. They had 60 days and they felt pushed & threatened.  Hmmmm.

Buyer #1 came to see me too, lol. Buyer #2 with the ice cream truck sounds more like the closings I'm accustomed to. Fortunately, since we're in a small Western town in Arizona, there's a guy outside of Town that will haul any vehicle away for $50.00. I don't know if he'll travel as far as you, but for a good humor truck, maybe :).

Tow strap & 4-wheel drive works pretty well too.

I just have to write again, still cracking up. At one point in time, an associate and I were chuckling about the idea of opening "Redneck Realty" where abandoned vehicles would be yard signs. "keys are for panzies, just kick the door in if ya wanna look at it." "Contracts are no good here, shake my hand dammit, break that deal, there'll be a shooting".

Phil:  $50 bucks is too high & too good for that truck.  We need a rider with that shooting paragraph here in IL.  I can imagine things are pretty lively at your company!

I help brokers build businesses they love.

I can't imagine how you handle a Good Humor truck left behind. A quick call to Veolia really wouldn't work, would it? And people think we're overpaid and/or make this stuff up.

Turn the truck around, load it with ice cream for the summer and make some money from it, then go after the sellers again in November when you don't need it anymore. (LOL)

Todd:  Yep, summer part time job.  Bad for the waist line.

Leslie:  Can't make this stuff up.

I will take the ice cream truck, just as long as there is a title to it. B4REAL111@YAHOO.COM
