America's Most Wanted: Have You Seen This Criminal

This is, obviously, lower profile than the violent crimes or kidnappings perpetrated by vicious criminals. However, since we now have the goods on this criminal, I think it is time to see if the public can help identify him so law enforcement can, finally, track him down. First, let me setup the scenario, and a fishy one it is. There has been a fish thievery ring operating in my neighborhood for several years. As a homeowner, you can go out and buy any number of goldfish for a pond or another water feature. These could even be expensive koi if one wants to live dangerously. Put them in the pond and give it a week. You would notice before long that the soil around the pond is displaced, rocks knocked in the water, that kind of thing. Also, you would see that fish were no longer swimming about. At first I wondered what was happening here. People said cats, people said heron. However, my suspicions were confirmed with this time lapse photograph. This is not unlike the photo that is automatically taken at a bank as the robber is demanding money. This photo is at dusk, within two feet of the pond where the horrible fish robbery is taking place. If anyone at AR can identify this individual, and his whereabouts, so law enforcement can apprehend him, please contact me immediately. Thanks for the cooperation in this grave matter.

Do you know, and can you identify, this criminal?

Thanks for doing your part to stop crime.

No. He is one of six that wander through. Other than eating the fish, which I now do not buy, they do not cause trouble.

Very cute picture.  They are troublesome creatures, but aren't they just adorable? :)
