23 Days Left Until The 2007-2008 College Football Season Begins!

The 2007-2008 NCAA Football season kicks off 8/30/07 with a Thursday night game between LSU and MSU at MSU in Starkville, MS. USA Today ranked LSU at #2 in the nation in their pre-season rankings, and some predict that LSU will play USC for the National Championship. While I hope that my team (LSU) does play for the National Championship (which is in New Orleans, by the way), I in no way feel assured that it will happen. Here are the complete pre-season rankings from USA Today:

I usually stay away from these discussions about football. The only reason I'm commenting is to make a correction in the predictions. Michigan will play for the National Championship. GO BLUE!

How can you live in Florida and be an Ohio State fan? I would think you'd have gone into hiding after being trounced by Florida last year (an SEC team, by the way - strongest conference in football!)
