Your pictures told the story...and so eloquently.
Good photography, Margaret. I had a funeral this week, as well. Can someone please have a baby or get abducted by aliens or something? Funerals are rough on the schnoz.
Great shots Margaret. My visit to the cemetery was so sobering and my favorite part of my recent trip to D. C.
Arlington Cemetary is an amazing place. I think military funerals are incredibly beautiful. My best friend was buried with some military honors and it was awe-inspiring to witness the traditions.

My former father-in-law is buried at Arlington. It is the only time I've been there for a service, although I visited many times as a tourist. The burial ceremony is something we shall never forget!

I was in downtown San Diego for a great part of the day yesterday since we had so many Memorial Day services going on down there. It was a beautiful day.
