There is nothing more majestic and serene than a sunset over the beautiful waters of the Gulf Coast.  However, add in some great music and fun for the family entire family, and you have an event that is truly priceless.  The Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Pensacola will once again be hosting music and entertainment in Plaza de Luna, located at the end of Palafox Street.  The festivities begin every Thursday night at 5:30pm and last until the sun sets over Pensacola Bay.

There will be a regular schedule of various music genres for each Thursday of each month; country will be featured on the 1st Thursday, Rock or Pop on the 2nd, Jazz/Blues on the 3rd, and the last Thursday of each month will feature a myriad of styles.  Along with the music each week, there will also be a full service concession stand to serve up some tasty treats, as well as a life-sized character and interactive fountain to entertain the kids.  Arts and crafts will also be set up every so often to display the talents of our local artists.

There is no denying a great time every Thursday night at Plaza de Luna in downtown Pensacola; and the best part is that it's completely FREE (still my favorite price)!  So gather up your lawn chairs and kids and head down to the Palafox Pier for a great time by the water.

Hi Matt, your sunset by the water is gorgeous.  We have a sunset celebration nightly here in Key West too at Mallory Square by the water and people seem to really enjoy it.  Thanks for sharing.

Isn't it wonderful to be near the water Tamara?  I love it here on the Gulf Coast!  My family and I will be out there this Thursday night to take in the wonderful breezes and beautiful music.
