Todd - I enjoyed reading this post. I have been out of the "rain" for six months ... and after jumping back in last night ... I realize how much I miss reading posts and making connections in the rain. I wish you happiness, success and more friendships.
Todd, you are a great example of the Power of ActiveRain! Thanks for the motivation...
Kathleen, great to see YOU back!
Kathleen - Welcome home.
Todd - Thanks for making me one of those ActiveRAIN friends, Neighbor.
You always inspire me to go out more in the Rain. It's good to see you have the same appeal to others!
This is my Monday, enjoy your Tuesday Todd!

Todd - I just had a call this morning from a family who is moving here from Chicago. The wife found my blog and called me because, her words, "I can tell how much you love living in Sonoma County". They will be renting instead of buying, so I gave her a handful of property management references. It's a good feeling when someone finds you on Active Rain and they already know you, like you and trust you.
Todd, I love the idea of Active Rain being a sort of Match.com for Realtors and clients! Cute metaphor.
New friends and new business. You simply can't beat that combination.
Your dating service analogy is silly but a strangely perfect description, Todd.
I've enjoyed making new friends because of my blog and getting to know them has been a surprise about blogging that I would have never expected when I started. Here is to more friends.

Yep, it's true. People know all about you before they even hire you.
Todd -- you are so right on this -- I took a break from AR because I was becoming to addicted to it -- but I had to come back because of my friends here ---Thanks AR --

Todd I'm still suprised when someone call and acts like they know me....I don't know them. The power of AR is wonderful.
Todd - Great blog on the connecting that Active Rain brings to us. Cute picture!
Todd, I agree the power of active rain is so powerful...and really miss the networking when I am away for a few days.
I am really looking forward to meeting a lot of people that I've 'met' here at RainCamp this week! Looking forward to sharing our pictures.
Todd, I too love meeting new people especially since I'm meeting the most interesting people. because of Active Rain. My latest clients are relocating from London, Australia, etc. These clients really apppreciate my friendship and hardwork.
I have made some great friends through real estate, and some really good friends with other real estate professionals right here in the Rain.
Match.com worked for me. Stephen (photoed with me) has been in my life for the past 7 years now. I accidentally hit the US button instead of Washington and he came up on a random search. (He was in Baltimore, MD and I was in Spokane, WA.) For over 2 years we jumped on planes, flying back and forth until I finally got him to move back here. Dinner and a movie was just getting too expensive.
Although I have only been officially blogging for a month now, I'm addicted! Great people with great ideas, about a subject I adore. No matter where you live, people have a connection and sometimes it's for life.
