After you have located “the home of your dreams”, spend some time on the internet finding out as much as you can about the address of the home. Below is an article about a “stigmatized property” (a home that has a negative history) that sold this past week. The point I am making is that New York State does NOT REQUIRE sellers to disclose if there was a murder or suicide on the property. Buyers should always research the property on google to find out if any negative information exists.
