I was so entranced by this guy (from the bicycle helmet to the fake Oakleys to the soft whirring of the electric engine on the Segway) and the absolute air of confidence obviously oozing from every pore that I actually came back just to take a photo of him in his natural habitat:
I didn't want to frighten him as he interacted with those he was charged to protect. So, I snuck up on him and took the photo from afar. He took his job very seriously. When he wasn't running the segway up and down the parking structure, he would perch in his own little corner of the 3rd floor parking structure so that he would be ready to act if some scuffle or customer in need arose. I hope he has enough "Hello Kitty" bandaids in case of emergency.
Gotta love the enthusiasm. It takes a real secure man to feel comfortable riding a segway all day.
