4 Comments on Q: How do I know if my cooling system is in good condition for the summer months?
If you are too hot, your AC is under sized for the job, or not working properly. Don't use air much in Maine. Cooler, not much humidity. Winter sweaters way way more popular.
Nice timely notice.
That said, I'm just opening windows.
After all this, what will the technician do?
Simple maintenance can stave off major problems. We try to cool the house down at night with windows open and the furnace fan running to circulate the cool air. Then close up the house in the morning when the outside temps begin to rise. Shades and blinds down - keep the hot sun out.
