I do not like to read the mantras of other people, which is usually a long deceased third party's quote--fashioned to meet the mood of the day. 

On the other hand, if I personally have a moment where it pops a plug in my sometimes ignorant brain, I will post and share. Today is that day.

It is simple.

I will get caught listening today. To my agents. To vendors and salespeople. Clients. My kids. Even my ex wife, should I be so lucky to get a call (ha ha).

It is so easy to shout out loud and talk. It is the art of listening though--and I speak of active listening--that will grab their attention.
