More than 100 bands for 9 days on 5 stages, downtown Chattanooga, TN.
More than 100 acts converge on Chattanooga for the nine day Riverbend Festival every June. Started in 1981 over 5 nights the festival has grown to up to 600,000 attendance during the festival and as many as 80,000 on a particular night.
Riverbend is the unofficial start of summer in Chattanooga with folks coming back year after year.
This year the festival will open with Sheryl Crow on June 11 and finish with The Marshal Tucker Band on June 19, with the Bessie Smith Strut in between. This music extravaganza is a hot time with folks of all ages sharing the nights together on the beautiful Tennessee River.
