The Casino Club at The Greenbrier introduces an elegant gaming venue that revels in the warmth and comfort of southern hospitality. This 102,000 sq. ft. underground facility will feature an elegant casino, restaurants, lounges and upscale retail boutiques. The décor, by Carleton Varney of the Dorothy Draper & Company design firm, will continue The Greenbrier’s renowned interior look with bright, bold colors and ornate design elements.
Roulette, blackjack, baccarat, craps, three-card poker and Texas hold ‘em will be available for resort guests and members. In addition, 320 slot machines, including refitted vintage silver dollar machines, form the perimeter of the lower level. Greenbrier Royale, a private high limit room, will be available for those who wish to raise the stakes.
The Greenbrier's newest tradition will be the champagne toast each night in the Casino Club, where the Belles and Gentlemen will take center stage. At precisely 10:00 p.m., all play will stop and attention will be directed to the grand marble staircase where the performance begins.
The performers, trained by two New York-based choreographers, will then dance to "The Greenbrier Waltz," an original musical composition by Greenbrier County native Tony Nalker. Tony is a Jazz pianist and Group Leader of the U.S. Army Blues at U.S. Army Band.
Located adjacent to the casino floor will be In-Fusion and Twelve Oaks. In-Fusion, an Asian fusion restaurant with a showcase sushi bar, features Pacific Rim cuisines and signature cocktails infused with citrus and fresh herbs. The epitome of Southern elegance, Twelve Oaks lounge is a refined setting with a stately equestrian theme.
The mezzanine level, known as Greenbrier Avenue, offers a series of upscale retail boutiques with fashions for women and men as well as jewelry. Sophisticated women’s collections from St. John, Badgley Mischka, Diane von Furstenberg, Milly and Judith Lieber, as well as renowned international men’s lines from Robert Graham, Brioni, Robert Talbott, Brunello Cuccinelli highlight this exclusive shopping experience. The Greenbrier Collection by Eclat, Breitling, Roberto Coin and Buccellati will highlight the jewelry selections.
Adjoining Greenbrier Avenue will be the relocated Draper’s and Café Carleton. Open 24 hours a day, Draper’s will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as the dessert specialties guests have loved for years. As a compliment to Draper’s, Café Carleton, named for Draper’s protégé Carleton Varney, will be a traditional coffee house where professional baristas create signature drinks amid breathtaking murals and marble accents.
