Canada's First Worm Charming Festival

I am betting few, if any, of you out there have ever charmed a worm!!!

Would you like to?
It's not as easy as it seems.  Apparently the world record is 549 worms in half an hour !?!?  I was amazed, perhaps even dazed and confused to borrow a phrase from Led Zeppelin ;-)

Haha, I had heard that worms scurry to the surface when they feel vibrations, but I would never have suspected that a festival could be made out of this.

Kathleen, before Friday, I had never heard of this.  I was unable to make it up to Shelburne today, but will have to see this another year.

Shelburne has a good Fair/Car Show some time in June, Malcolm, I was really looking for that when I stumbled on to this... can't say my life has been enriched ;-)

Chris, well this caught my attention.  Had I known this when I was a kid just before a day out fishing it would have made my life a whole lot easier...you have no idea how many holes I've dug looking for worms.

Chris, How could we adapt it to real estate?  I know "some " people burn candles and put homemade aluminum antenna on a baseball cap to attract buyers...... tell me more.  I am in.

Interesting. Didn't know works could be charmed. Fishermen should be learning how to do that.
