I'll start off stating, this is my first attempt at blogging, so bear with me. I'm not even sure if I'm blogging or not.

Recenly I started on the path to achieving my CRS accreditation and thoroughly enjoyed the first class, CRS 201. As you all know there are a series of classes one must take to complete the educational requirements for this designation. And that is what has brought me to this site for guidance. I am atttempting to find out if the ePro classes would be more useful than taking the CRS 206 Technology course.  Perhaps I am not comparing apples to apples and therein lies the problem, but I don't know enough to know if that is the case. If anyone has any thoughts about this, could you please advise me.  Thank you for your time.  Sheila Malloy, RE/MAX Greater Atlanta

Great Question. I am an ePRO Trainer. It is much like comparing apples to oranges because the CRS Class is like a one day class, whereas the ePRO is 20-30 hours of work. The cool thing, though is that the ePRO is good for an elective towards your CRS, but you will learn lots more! And, if you'd like a $25 discount...go here!  There is also a nice video on that link telling you more about the course

Thank you so much for clearing that up for me,  I didn't realize the ePro was good for an elective towards the CRS. I look forward to taking the class and thanks for the $25 coupon-off for it.

Sheila,

Welcome to blogging.

I am a State CRS president,  CRS is the designation which started my success in real estate.   I would recommend any CRS class, they are all exceptional.  I have not done the 206 for many years though so I can not give specifics.

visit www.CRS.com to check up where classes are held. I recommend CRS210 referrals!

Thank you Guy,  I feel very confident that CRS accreditation is the way to go as well.  I will continue to pursue the other courses necessary to that end.  I think that I probably will benefit best, by taking the ePro class and then the other CRS classes for buyers, sellers, etc. This way I will be up on state of the art technology and its ability to facilitate me with all I will learn fronm the CRS classes.  Thank you again so much for your input and advice.  Stay cool in this heat!  Sheila Malloy

I did the e-PRO class. It was great and I don't have to pay a fee every year just to say that I am e-PRO certified.

Thanks, Jen,  I did the e-Pro class and feel that I got alot out of it.  Still striving for my CRS accrditation, missing the 202 class and then I'll be done.   good luck,

e-Pro is what you make of it. I feel that the Internet is a constant learning process. I have to be right on top of it or zoom ... your behind.
