If you're German, are interested in Germany, or want to speak German, come join the Olympia German Club. Members get together once a month at Wagner's European Bakery in Olympia to speak German, talk about what's new in Germany, exchange German magazines or DVDs and have a gemuetliche Kaffeklatsch. But this is not all... the German Club also puts on fundraisers, organizes "Wandertage", and puts on great traditional celebrations. If this sounds like fun, come join us.

Looks like it's a fun place! I'm part German and spent time on business in Germany so I probably have a better appreciation for a place like this than many. When I was a child, my grandparents brought back lederhosen for both me and my younger brother which I had NO appreciation for at the time.

Hi Sandy,

Well, although I'm not German I have visited the country many times as I am from England originally. It is a wonderful country with great traditions, great food and not bad at soccer either. With the upcoming world cup I know they will be a force to be reckoned with. But we (England or America) can handle them. LOL
