Open message to BP....try and put a pipe down there just a Little smaller than the opening and pump that oil up into waiting tankers on the surface...the tankers take that oil and go to the refinery where it is pumped out and we can save the environment here......just an idea......any thoughts ??
I know it is a temporary idea but hey can it be any worse than what has been tried???

Everything has failed so far. This situation is depressing me a great deal. Our children and grandchildren will be coping with the mess we have made. Hopefully they are smarter than we are.
I think that this is the death of BP as we know them.
Everyone hates them for what has happened, and for not already having a backup plan in place for a disaster like this.
If it had been something that involved the price of oil, it would have been handled in 2 minutes.
Hard to imagine that this has been going on for 6 weeks and they cannot stop the flow?
Perhaps they should hire you as a consultant. Good theory for a disastrous mess!
