Hamilton Rd Arlington - Waterfront Penthouse at Spy Pond Condos

You know what they say about "location, location, location" - well, it doesn't get any better than this!

Spy Pond in Arlington MA

This penthouse condo at the Spy Pond Condos in Arlington sold in 2010. Located on the shores of Spy Pond, you can moor your canoe or kayak at one of the three docks.  Set up your grill outside and relax at a picnic table by the water. Walk or bike along the Minuteman Bike Path that runs next to the complex.

Kitchen in an Arlington MA condo

From the moment you open the condo door you'll be mesmerized by the view.  Four sets of sliders lead out to a huge deck - the size of some small condos - and the lake is spread out before you.  Watch the fish, the birds, the boats... Part of the deck is covered, part open - perfect for outdoor living in any weather and there's plenty of room for your plants.

Tear yourself away from the view and you'll find lots to love inside too.  The condo has an open layout and is so bright and sunny that there's no need to turn on lights during the day.

The spacious living room faces the water with two sets of sliders to the deck. The dining area also has water views.

Dining room overlooking the lake

The stellar kitchen renovation includes Caesarstone counters and stainless steel Jenn Air appliances including a dishwasher, microwave that vents outside, a french door fridge, and a five-burner range with convection oven.

There are beatiful lake views from the master bedroom and sliders to the deck. There are two double door closets in the bedroom and a third in the adjacent half bath. The second bedroom has leafy views facing the bike path.

The stylishly renovated full bath includes washer and dryer by Bosch.

There's a spacious storage unit  just outside the door, an elevator, and two parking spaces.

Canoes by the shore of Spy Pond

The complex has a full-time super and is very well managed. The condo fee includes heat and hot water.

Liz, Spy Pond is certainly beautiful.  The view alone should sell this property!

Hi Susan ~ It really takes your breath away when you walk inside. Most of the waterfront condos in the building are perpendicular to the lake with one set of sliders facing the water. This penthouse is placed parallel to the water so it is spread out in front of you. It's fun to watch buyers' reactions when they walk in and see the view.

Such a great spot, and you've painted an alluring picture of life at Spy Pond. Being on the Minute Man trail would be awesome. Hope you had a great turnout today.

Hi Hannah ~ Beautiful condo and a beautiful view - sweet!

Hi Denise ~ I can't tell you how serene and lovely a spot it is.  Sitting on that deck is true happiness.

Hi Lottie ~ It was a good day and the bike path is a big draw.  You can easily walk to the Red Line via the bike path from here.

Hi Leesa ~ The sellers never turn on the lights during the day. Today was cloudy (luckily the big storm that took down trees all over town held off until later) and you still didn't need lights. Gotta love that.

Hi Julia ~ You and me both. I'd love to live here.

Thanks Karen! It's the kind of place that you never forget.

Liz:

Spy Pond is a lovely place to be.  Scenic and beautiful yet still close to the city. This is a wonderful presentation and someone is going to be getting a fabulous home.

Liz, Hope you did well at the open.  Great place to do an open.  Interesting how the heat is included in the condo fee.  All the best.

Liz,

This looks like a beautiful development. There truly is something special about a water front community.
