Set The Perfect Game Right, Already !

I've been watching replays of the safe call at first base all week and I'm disgusted.  A tearful Jim Joyce (Umpire) admitted he blew the call and wishes he could take it back.  I mean, the play wasn't even close.  But the MLB commissioner won't touch it.

Armando Gallaraga will be just another pitcher who flirted with a perfect game on Wednesday night.  There have only been 20 perfect games thrown in over 100 seasons of Major League Ball.  After retiring 26 consecutive batters Mr. Gallaraga only needed one more out to complete the feat.  It doesn't matter which camera angle you view, the play wasn't even close.  Commissioner Bud Selig should have manned up for what is right and reversed the call.

Sadly enough when our elected officials screw up it doesn't even bother me any more because I expect it of them.  Their track record speaks volumes.  But this has got me so mad all I can say is #!&%$#*& !!!

Signed,

Terry Edwards
