Last weekend I was in Palatka, Florida - a sleepy little north Florida town where I grew up years ago. While walking downtown enjoying the annual Bluecrab Festival I saw this mural on a side street. The thing that caught my eye was people coming in and out through the door on lower left...Initially I thought it just part of the picture.
Beautiful mural and functional too. That is neat the way the door works into it.
Gary: Wow, what a neat mural- That is really well-done! The door is interesting, too- Thank you for sharing! :)
It seems like Florida might be walking the tight wire with this oil spill. Certainly hope there is minimal damage.
Gary, what a great photo of this mural, I used to see quite a few in Europe, it is rare in this country. Great find and thank you for sharing.
Gary, I love the shot of this mural! And doubly love that is is functional at the door :) I saw signs for the Blue Crab Festival and wanted to take it in, but we were in Orlando all weekend for a Soccer Tournament...next year. No, next year we'll probably be at another Soccer Tournament! lol
Linda - Thanks. Really caught my eye.
Sharon - Thanks. Sometimes not enough time and days to take it all in.
Endre - Thanks. Murals are rare - unfortunately graffiti is not!
Cherise - I am afriad you may very well be on tagert. Thanks.
David - Thanks, have a great week!
I think you're just pulling our legs. I'm sure that door in the lower left is just part of the mural. To prove otherwise, you'll need to take a picture of someone going in or coming out of the door. LOL
