Wow!!!  Real Estate as we knew it in the early and mid 2000's took a big hit toward the end of 2007.  We were in the eye of the storm in 2008, then 2009 started to settle down.  Things seem to be getting back to normal, or should I say, to the way it should have been in the first place.  Financial insitutions are more cautious about the lending guidlelines and consumers are a beginning to be a little more responsible...or so it seems.  I thank God that I was able to weather the storm and to stick it out.  I knew that the tough times wouldn't last.  Just as the Word of God says, the race isn't given to the swift nor the strong, but to the one who endures to the end.  I would like to salute all of the Realtors who were able to stick it out during the challenging times and look forward to all of us working to bring the housing market back to where it should be.

Hi Kevin!  I wish that were the case in the Phoenix area - but we're probably in for many more years of Short Sales as things stand right now.  I'm happy to hear the storm is calming in Little Rock and that you survived!

Hi Kevin,

your comments mirror my feelings. 2010 has been a much better year so far than 2009. My business has definately benifitted from the Federal Buyers incentives. I'm still not sure if things are "back to normal" though time will tell. Here's wish you continued success.

Hi Kevin:

It certainly has been a wild ride, however the ride is far from over here in Las Vegas, the Short Sale phenomenon and REO are here to stay for a while.  Although Las Vegas is a awesome market to invest in Commercial and Residential.  Start to take advantage of the unbelievable pricing.

I happy to hear that weathered the storm in Little Rock.

Congratulations on hanging in there.  It's certainly not been easy for any of us.  Just staying in the business is a measure of success these days.
