This is a picture of Half Dome.  It is one of the most famous of all National Park features.

The lush greenery from the forests provides a wonderful contrast to the grey orange and black rock formations found in Yosemite National Park.

This view provides one of the most famous views of Yosemite Valley. From here you can see El Capitan, with Half Dome in the background. This viewpoint is at the east end of the Wawona Tunnel along the Wawona Road (Highway 41).

Yosemite is a very beautiful place. I have visited there many times in the spring, summer and winter months. Each time I have been there, there is always somebody climbing Half Dome....truly amazing to watch!
