Homes.com Calls AGAIN!!! The insanity never stops

For anyone who didn't see my first post, click here Just a short RANT about HOMES.com

So they called back again today!!! The phone rang and I picked it up and just listened for a second before saying hello. I heard the telemarketer practicing his friendly Hello voice, the one that's supposed to sound like he's your friend calling and you should trust him. He practiced his hello twice before I finally said HI and he started his pitch.

I told him I get this call 3 times a week now (No LIE!) and that I wanted to be removed from their call system and that for years I've been told that Homes.com just can't seem to get a Do Not Call list together. So I asked to speak to a supervisor.

"Brian" gets on the line and tells me that if I don't want to be called and harassed by their company, I need to remove my phone number from the internet all together. That they are sales people just like me and I should support their efforts.

I let them know they were nothing like me and that I didn't want to be contacted by them ever again. That if they believed in internet marketing they should sell their product with it instead of using cold-calling. Brian was very snooty and was just sure I didn't understand my business and really did need his product.

If there's ever a Homes.com booth somewhere at a conference, I'm gonna stand beside it with a bull horn and repeatedly act like I'm calling them with a "friendly hello" voice and just drive them crazy.

You can tell business is slow because I am constantly getting calls to buy other people's services.  My response to that ugly comment about removing your number would be...I want to earn money not pay out to someone else.  Recently, I just tell them I am broke and cannot afford their services.  Generally, I never hear from them, again.

Ugh!  I hate when that happens.  Seems like the sales guy are getting more aggressive (and annoying) by the minute.

Bob, I have not had the displeasure, but I have read that Homes.com is really becoming a problem. I like your idea, if they get enough complaints maybe they will get the hint....doubtful though

Bob - I recently heard of a not-so-nice "solution" -- the guy posted the irritating salesman's "inside number" on CraigsList offering something FREE that included his name...just to make the connection...like "Please ask for Bob's TV." After a couple of days, offer to trade removals. It worked for him!
