This week's feature is on a community in North Las Vegas called Eldorado. It is located in the 89031 and 89084 zip codes. It is North Las Vegas's first Master Planned Community that started building homes roughly starting in 1989 and is still currently building homes. The whole community is roughly over 1000 acres in size. There is still currently about 110 acres of land that hasn't been developed yet, along with 2 communities that the builder is still selling brand new in the Eldorado Highlands section.

Eldorado features 2 large community parks, Seastrand and Eldorado parks, with Eldorado park sharing space with Lee Antonello elementary school. On the southern edge of Eldorado is 2 shopping plazas where you will find your nearest grocery store, Smith's, and your local pharmacy, CVS, along with numerous restaraunt options all the way to dry cleaning.
House's in this subdivision range from just over 1000 square feet single story homes with 2 beds, 2 baths and 2 car garages, all the way up to over 3800 square feet two story homes. The larger homes come in all kinds of floorplan configurations that may feature up to 6 bedrooms, 6 baths, and up to a 4 car garage. There community is generally split in two parts, with Centennial Road being the divider. To the south of Centennial is Eldorado and it consists of 11 neighborhoods and you will find the widest range of housing sizes in this part. North of Centennial Road is referred to as Eldorado Highlands, and this is where the builder is still currently building homes to this date. The homes here, as suggested in the name, are on a slight hill, hence Highlands, and are generally on the larger side for the community, with the smallest homes being over 1600 square feet.

Currently there are 39 homes listed for sale and 93 homes are under contract. Current sales prices range from a low of $65,00 to a high of $306,650 at the moment. There were 17 closings in the month of May. Since the beginning of the year, that comes to a total of 81 closings in the neighborhood.
