It is always very important if you are seeking venture capital funds to be perfectly frank at the outset.

Far too many people will try to hide the bad news.

However, your project may or may not be funded. Credibility is by far more important than bad news. In fact, the worst news is the lack of credibility.

In many cases, prospective funders can find out what they need to know about your industry with a few searches on the internet. What will that say about your industry? What will that say about you?

If you had your meeting and you made less than full disclosure, your phone is not exactly going to be ringing off the hook.
