In my neighborhood the "For Sale" signs are beginning to go up at a very rapid rate and it is no surprise to who I see on those "For Sale" signs. This may come as a shock to you, BUT it is the Realtors(R) who are regularly marketing their services to THIS neighborhood who have the listings. Crazy right? NOT!
What would be crazy though is for a farmer to wonder why his/her crop didn't grow when they planted no seeds during planting season. There is a reason they call it "farming", you plant seeds, water them and it grows, even people who play in "Farmville" know that! The question you have to ask yourself is "if I am planting no seeds, how do I expect something
to grow?"
Consistent marketing and investing in your business will lead to more consistent results. It is no accident that real estate agents who market their services get listings, and it should also be of no surprise that it takes time. There is no secret marketing plan that will lead you to an instant twenty listings a month, just like there is no secret diet plan to loosing 20 lbs. a month unless you do the work.
