Hey Charlotte, who doesn't love baseball, even minor league?

hey Charlotte, are you taking advantage of what is in our own backyard? If you are lucky enough to live in a town with a professional baseball team, no matter what team that might be, OUR FAMILY is JEALOUS. We have several Minor League teams in our area, but it just ins't the same.

We typically plan our trips in the summer around which ballparks we can pass when the home team will be playing. We have been to Atlanta, Chicago, Cleveland, and others. We plan on some Philadelphia games this summer.

If you live in or around the Charlotte, NC area I wanted to make sure that you were aware of the Charlotte Knights schedule for the 2010 season.

It  is funny...we live outside of DC and are close to both the Nationals and the Orioles. We aren't a baseball family , though. We go to an occasional game but it is just not our sport!

Fair enough Holly. That's 2 more fields we should fit into our schedule this summer. We will wave to you as we pass by. Have a great one.

We have a minor team and I am a Braves fan, but we cut out the Braves and really enjoy our minor league team because, #1 cost and #2 the players enjoy it more, the fans get more out of it. Lots better that the majors, no whining and the play is the same.

Charles,

my family lives in Pace. What a small world. I would agree with both cost and pure love of the game too at the minor league level. Have a great Sunday!

Posting about our local area is the surest way I know to attract new homebuyers.  I'm sure this post will be a "keeper" for anyone looking for the Knights' schedule!

I'm not a baseball fan, but try to go to a game or two each summer.  The Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals are both nearby, but Friday we're going to see the Bowie Baysox.

Margaret,

that sounds like so much fun. My 11 year old plays travel baseball and we live at the field each weekend. In fact, this coming weekend we play in Myrtle Beach. So excited!! Have a great week.
