I don’t know about you, but Thursday night in my house is date night. Every Thursday I look forward to not having to make dinner. The problem is even though I don’t want to cook dinner, I still want all the comforts of home.
There are some wonderful restaurants out there, but since I’m writing this, here are my personal three favorites…

Ginger Scallion Steamed Mahi Mahi
Zakes Cafe has excellent service, delicious food, charming Victorian House atmosphere. The only downside is it’s small and a little tight…but well worth it!
Pistachio Grille

Reservation Recommended, but if you get there before 7:00 it’s usually no problem.
My favorite appetizer…Mushrooms my way
Pistachio Grille is one of my favorite places for dinner. I think I like it because my old kitchen was painted Barn Red…so to me it evokes a feeling of home. Very good gourmet food, great service and beautiful candlelit atmosphere.
La Vita E’ Bella

My favorite…Eggplant Parmesan of course!
La Vita E’ Bella is more of a diner atmosphere, but the food is great, service is very good and it’s a real neighborhood restaurant with authentic Italian food.
