At the beginning of the week, I wrote a post about how using Active Rain gave me an advantage with a prospective client. I created a presentation for a developer showcasing the service of my team and how we are the only choice as his new community marketing specialist.
In that presentation, I highlighted the benefits of being an active member in the rain. It was the first time I had included it in any presentation. Not sure why, maybe I was crazy! It will remain in my presentations from this point forward.
Yesterday the prospect contacted me for a second meeting. Soon I will be traveling to Charleston, SC to meet with the owners and discuss logistics.
