Making a Video. Don't over think it. Just shoot it and be done.

You Tutas folks are my heroes!  =)  I'm going to start video blogging...I just have to like watching myself on camera, that's the hard part! 

I almost called once to see if Bertha wanted to go to lunch.  Alas, she was a video star, and I a humble REALTOR! 

Hmmm...I need some time and space to do some videos with my webcam. Can't do it with a bunch of noisy kids around, LOL.

Congrats on your new house, BB. You do make video look very easy. That's probably because the camera loves your good lookin' face. You just talk and talk, it all rolls off your tongue -- there's no struggle for the right words. You're a natural.

BB--- my sentiments exactly. My videos are NEVER perfect, nor scripted, but accurate reflect my passion, hyperactivity, neuousis, and real estate knowledge. Sometimes I get teased because one of my cats hop on the desk when I'm recording, but I don't start over!

BB: I'm just getting into this Video blogging. Thanks for sharing. I did come up with a little device I wanted to share with you. Maybe you already know about it. It's a magnetic tripod called a GorillaPod Magnetic. I've been having a riot with it. It has enough magnetic grid that I attached it to the hood of my car and drove around my favorite Park. I'm betting this might be just the trick for your new golf cart.

BB Making videos IS fun. It certainly has gotten a lot easier than it was in the past. nI finally took the leap, and it has been a great inexpensive way to promote my business both locally and internationally. Thanks for the motivation to just do it!

Bryant - I admire your videos. You are so 'loose' in front of the camera, just incredible.

I remember your absolutely crazy video shooting dead the contract (your counteroffer). Humor goes a long way.

I gather you use a good resolution webcam, stable, clear picture..

I know you posted this a while ago, but I HAD to comment. In that, I share your sentiment exactly. JUST DO IT! I've shot many youtbue videos for various personal and business reasons before and in the beginning I spent way too much time overthinking the "technicality" of making it "perfect." When I just started shooting impromptu videos, my click-throughs and viewers responses increased exponentially. if you wanna see a perfect movie, watch a James Cameron. If you want readership and viewership, just get the stinking video up and going.

Videos are a great way to introduce yourself to your reader or to the person that found you on the web. More often people will listen to a 5 minute video than read a LONG post. The video can be played while they are working on something else. Personally, I have not gotten into videos, but thats because of my Bells Palsy. Im sure I'll get into the videos soon enough.

Have any of you ever watched Tamara's videos? The woman is wonderfully witty and a natural on camera. Go check her out. She's an excellent example of what can be done with video, aside from violence or dressing in drag :)
