I have Jeanna, and I was surprised by the tens of thousands of times I popped up! If you google "Northern Virginia Chinese Drywall Expert," I pop up a bunch on the first page! Who knew? I am an "expert..."!
Jay - That is Awesome! It is so interesting to see what might bring us up! :-)
Yes, I did. It was fun to see how many times my name came up. Makes you want to be sure and be careful about anything you put on the internet.
Ji Jeanna, that is really a good idea. I'll have to try it and see how I stack up.
Allen - It is kind of fun and certainly interesting!
Liz - Let's hope you kick page one's butt! :-)
I own Google. My business card and all of my marketing ask people to google me. Saves me the time of having to sell my services.
Interesting to say the least...........
I think I'll change my last name to Google. Or my first.
Jeanna - I have similar results for my own name. Good stuff! :-)
This one of the primary reasons I got hooked on AR last yr. ! I've got alot of ground to make up !!!!
I watch mine occasionally. Sure is suprising all the links you can obtain.
My name is too common plus I get things about parks. LOL. But I also get some results similar to yours.
Great blog!
I'm with you. I can't help but google my own name once in a while in a combination of configurations...just trying to figure out how my name might come up if a client is looking for an agent in my area. This keeps me constantly changing my 'tags' as I post blogs and so on.
Thank you for the reminder.I have not checked my name in a while.
Great point!!!
I google myself but I am also shooting for domination on several keywords that are important to my business so I google them too. It's a great way to find out if you are really accomplishing your online marketing goals.
There is a travel agent that shares my name and I share the first page of google with her. If "real estate" is added after my name, then I am the only one. Cool.
