Base rate (lowest you can buy with points) today for a 30 yr fixed mortgage loan is about 4.125%. The going rate (with no lender points) is about 4.75%-4.875%.

20 yr fixed mortgage loans about 4.375% - 4.5% with no points.

15 yr fixed mortgage loans starting at 3.75%.  Going interest rate about 4.25%.

Starting rate today for a Hawaii VA Loan is about 4.25%. The going rate is about 4.75%.
