When Missy Caulk tells me to do something....I am on it! So here are my thoughts on RainCamp.
First I want to give you a little background on me. I started paying attention to SEO back in 2004. I paid Advanced Access about $5,000 to teach me how to get to the top of the search engines. Since that time I have worked diligently on Content, Linking, Back Linking, Unique One Way Links and my Keywords and Meta Tags. I have been on the first page of Google for 5 continuous years. I make my living from the Internet. When times were good I supplied leads to a team of 5 agents, now it is back to 3. My point is that I know a lot about SEO.
When I signed up for RainCamp, I signed up so that I could learn more about Blogging....I already know everything there is to know about SEO....I am on the first page of Google remember? I signed up as a "Gold" attendee because I was going to save a couple of bucks, my learning would be limited to blogging (I already know SEO remember).
Boy was I ever wrong! I do know a lot about SEO but not as much as these guys! It was kind of like thinking you are the strongest guy in the whole kindergarten class.....but I am 38! Once I was in the room with some people that REALLY KNEW about SEO I didn't feel so smart or so smug! I cannot begin to tell you how much I learned and you have to remember that I already was pretty good at this, or so I thought. These guys are EXPERTS! They are GIVING away more knowledge than I paid $5,000 for in one shot, not to mention the thousands I have spent since then gaining more knowledge. Bob and Ben gave away every piece of information I had paid for in a couple of hours.
AR has been one of the best learning venues I have encountered in my career, RainCamp is by far the most incredible experience I have encountered for teaching anyone about SEO, Facebook, Blogging and how to be able to continue doing business in the coming years.
I really do feel that those who do not start learning these techniques will quickly find themselves in the unemployment line.
I sincerely want to thank Bob, Ben, Brad and the others who made RainCamp in D.C. possible. I will be at the next RainCamp near me and I will be Platinum, front and center!
