14 Comments on When Frustration leads to Poor Decisions!
Hi Gary, You're correct about frustration leading to many poor decisions. Hopefully that owner will get their lives back on track. Sad story !
Wow.. no kidding? Sad what some people go through. Nice to always take the high road, but easier said than done... Thank you for the post..
Gary, a sad example of what happens when people focus on problems rather than solutions...
What a sad story. Not everyone will go to the length to burn down their home, but I've seen plenty of foreclosed homes, where the previous owners have ripped out everything of value, including the toilets. Sad!
What a painful post to read. Foreclosure is such an emotional experience for homeowners.
Hi Bill, sometimes we can create a glimmer of hope for people by sharing with them the options of a short sale. It still doesn't change the out come of being required to move. Thanks for the comments Bill. Hopefully the oil spill won't reach your shores...I think it has good potential based on the time line projections. Take care.
Hi Darren, frustration and feeling trapped will do weird things to your head. Thanks for the comments Darren.
Hi Chris, it is a classic example of the water glass have empty...but while you are in the mess sometimes the emotions are all you can see. Evaluating your situation clearly becomes very difficult. Thanks for the comments Chris.
Hi Sandy, I have seen the same issues in many of the HUD homes and foreclosures. It is a sad situation. Thanks for the comments Sandy.
Hi Mike, sometimes posting the reality of what happens will help others facing the same issue in the future. We can only hope they take a positive approach and look at a short sale. Thanks for the comments Mike.
Gary, I've never seen a foreclosure home burned down, but I've seen plenty that have big holes knocked in the walls, appliances missing, etc... that were obviously not an accident.
Hope it works out for the young family. I don't care who you are foreclosure has to be tough.
I have written several times on my other blogs about how there is always a person or family behind a short sale or foreclosure. People with real problems who sometimes only need understanding and compassion but sometimes, like this one, they need more. I wish them well.
I just don't understand people sometimes. Loosing a home can't be easy for anyone, but why make it worse? I have seen people that completely gut the home toilets, counter tops, EVEN fireplaces.....just why? These actions only make things worse on the state of the real estate market not to mention possible legal prosecution.
