Star, I know this has nothing to do with the content of your blog but just wondered if there was still a Sunday brunch at a place called the Evergreen in Palatine. It has been years since we have been there over 30 but I still have great memories of the strawberries and setting. Can't imagine how it must have changed in all these years.

If you haven't been in Palatine in that long you would be amazed. I was thinking that I should start posting some pictures of the area as the amount of construction, tear downs, and changes is amazing.

As for the Evergreen I really don't know for sure.
