I recall having read a blog a while back about calling people who we meet in AR and consider to be our associates and online buddies, but I have not picked up the phone and called anyone...not yet. I thought about it, but I haven't made any calls. That is probably because I am more apt to communicate online even outside of Active Rain, than I am to pick up the phone and check in with someone. Probably not the best of habits I know, but I do. If I have an email address, that is likely my primary means of contact.

I did however, receive my first call in from an ActiveRainer last night, that's right...and guess who? Brotha ALEX! I answered, "hello?" , the voice on the other end says, "hi, may I speak with Gwendolyn?" , "this is Gwendolyn", "Hey, this is Alex Harb" , I went, hey, HEY! HOW ARE YOU DOING?, I was so shocked and pleasantly surprised. We chat for quite a bit and I have been inspired to call someone else that I met in the rain just to chat for a bit.
