The plant or the puppy? My killer lab was chasing a butterfly Friday.  She is so ferocious.  I think the butterfly escaped.

Toula, that must have been so traumatic to be confronted by an attack puppy. It's amazing that you can even write about it.

Toula, She is so cute ( even when eating the flowers) Great photos.  I used to have day lillies in my yard in town, they are one of my favorites - your lilly is different, is it a Tiger lily? It's very beautiful!

How could something so cute be a terror?

Toula - I always enjoy your critter pictures!  I'm amazed you have any flowers still standing in that garden.  I have an American Eskimo, who thinks when the weather gets warmer than 80 degrees, it's time to dig an underground igloo to escape the heat!  I should take photos the next time he destroys my yard and makes it appear napalmed.

Hi Toula,

Your new puppy is so cute!  Love the photos!  He needs to be careful in the garden & what plants he chews on - most lillies are toxic.  Pawsfriendly Landscapes on Facebook wrote a series on them in the spring.  Just thought I would let you know, so your cute pup does not get a toxic dose of eating the wrong plant.
