It's Happened...The Prince William County VA Real Estate Market Has Flatlined!!!

                                                          Believe it or flatlinednot, there are just not enough homes For Sale in the Prince William County Virginia real estate market. Resale inventory is moving quite quickly. New home construction deliveries are now quoting early fall and winter deliveries. Homes priced at Fair Market Value that show well sell fast and for top dollar.

To give you an example. Just this weekend, I was house hunting with a relocating couple heading in from Colorado. On Saturday we saw several homes, took a second look at one,  and that home was lovely. Our clients were ready to write, and before we even put pen to paper the home status changed to Under Contract. That $500+ home was only on the market two days and I was told by the listing agent the seller had two wonderful offers!

Hi Kellie, it is beginning to feel like a normal market. Homes here in the Woodbridge Virginia area were I list and sell homes, the average time on market is less than 30 days for the average house and the homes priced well and in great condition sell much faster.

Hi Cindy.  I'm sure your seller was totally over joyed that they had choices! Even the home I had in Westridge lsited for $600,000+ had seven showings in the first week and we ratifed an offer soon after that!

Buyers need to really be on their toes right now to snag a really nice home. Interest rates are still very low, and with the current low inventory sitaution, your comment is proof we are back to bidding wars again.
