We are so proud that our fair city has once again been named "2010 States Cleanest City" by the Louisiana Garden Club Federation! We have won this honor 5 times in the past 8 years! Pretty AMAZING!
Pineville, Louisiana competes in Districe G which is for cities with a populations between 9,500 - 14,999.
Of course a feat like this doesn't just happen....it is a team effort.
I would like to THANK everyone who played a part in this honor including our great Mayor Clarence Fields who stated, "This award is a victory for all city employees and our citizens. I really want to commend our Public Works Deparment, the Pineville Beautification Committee and the Alexandria Garden Club. It is obvious that our citizens and employees share the same sense of passion and pride in our community and about litter abatement, and what we can accomplish when we work together."
This is just one more reason why Pineville is a great place to live and enjoy!
